A couple weeks ago I was not feeling right. I couldn’t sleep laying down feeling like I was drowning and simple things like putting up Christmas lights were impossible.

I first called the Providence help nurse who advised me to get checked at urgent care. I drove to Urgent care and they turned me away saying they were filled up and not seeing any more patients. I was hitting rock bottom.

I made it back to the car and drove to the the ER not knowing it would turn out to be the best experience of my life. I was screened, seen and admitted. The ER was packed, rooms were full; gurneys were everywhere filling all available spaces. The sick were attended to by an amazingly experienced, energetic and dedicated staff. The ER staff found time to converse, answer questions and be reassuring without attitude. I don’t know how you do it. I was diagnosed, fixed, admitted for a 4 day stay and not released until a plan was in place. Thank You!

When I was released, it was the best I’ve felt in years. I am still feeling great and plan to have a great Christmas and holiday season with my family.

I wish the best for you. What you do is special. Thank you.
